The NBA star, who is already embroiled in a court battle during his divorce from Kim Kardashian, has recently started working with federal prosecutors to get a grand jury indictment against a man named Andrew Hicks, who scammed Kris out of $617,000!

The con artist took a whopping amount of $2.5 million from 10 investors, in order to convince them to put their money into a made-up billion dollar hedge fund, and Kris was one of them.

According to the indictment, Hicks instead blew wads of cash on a 2011 black Range Rover, 12 luxury watches, one diamond engagement ring, two pairs of earrings, another gold ring with diamonds, one pair of silver cuff links … and one silver men’s ring.
Apparently, this guy had close ties with Kris, since he was even at Kim Kardashian and Kris’ wedding back in the summer.
We hope Kris gets his paper back. After all, he is splitting with one of the richest women in the industry!
