After co-starring in the A-List cast of the film New Year’s Eve, Glee star Lea Michele decided to emulate the movies and ask Kutcher to spend New Year’s Eve with her and her “big Italian family.”
During a Warner Bros. Studio interview Lea proposed that Kutcher ring in the New Year with her:
“What are you going to do for New Year’s? Why don’t you come celebrate with my big Italian family and me? They would die.”

Kutcher, who recently separated from wife Demi Moore after allegations that he cheated on her during their wedding anniversary, quickly, but politely declined the offer saying:
“I don’t know where I’m going to be on New Year’s, I haven’t sorted it out.”
Yikes! In the newly released movie, New Year’s Eve, Ashton and Lea play a pair of strangers that get stuck in an elevator together prior to the stroke of midnight and end up sharing their New Year’s kiss.
