23-year-old NY Jets fan James Mohr was savagely beaten at Met-Life stadium after Sunday’s Jets game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

STORY: OOPS!! LAPD Arrested The Wrong Guy In L.A. Dodger Beating Case

A group of drunken angry Chief fans beat up Mohr in the parking lot of Met-Life stadium yelling “F–k New York” and “You all deserved what happened on 9/11!” the victim’s distraught family told The New York Post.

Mohr, a Queens, NY native, teaches physical education at the Bronx Guild vocational high school.

On the day of the attack he was wearing his Jets gear after the team’s 37-10 victory. While he walked through the parking lot a woman standing with a pack of thugs screamed the vile taunts.

Mohr’s sister Anna told the New York Post

“Our other brother is a fireman, and my father is retired FDNY, so you can understand why a 9/11 comment would especially irk him. He was shocked anyone would actually say something like that.”

A stadium rep said:

“This is an unacceptable attack on one of our guests and we have been working with the New Jersey State Police to make sure the man arrested is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Fans getting attacked at sporting events are nothing new. At a San Francisco Giants game last March, Brian Stowe suffered serious brain injuries from an attack outside Dodger Stadium.

We wish James a swift and steady recovery.
