Former Miss USA, Rima Fakih, born in Lebanon but raised in NYC and Michigan, is lending her name to the boycott of Lowe’s hardware store.

VIDEO: Boycott Lowe’s And Give Them Back Their Stuff!

The lovely Miss Rima called in to GlobalGrind, going on record as a person who will be boycotting Lowe’s in wake of their controversial decision to pull their ads from TLC’s All-American Muslim. She said:

I am disappointed that in 2012 we still have big vendors like Lowe’s supporting hate and promoting discrimination.

Moving to Dearborn, Michigan in 2003 where she won the title of Miss Michigan before going on to win Miss USA, Rima’s stomping grounds are at the center of the Muslim controversy as the show is taped in a nearby town. Dearborn has one of the largest Muslim-American populations in the entire country.

We’re proud of Rima for lending her name to the movement and know how important it is for celebrities voices to be heard during this time.
