There are many mysterious facts surrounding the late Kim Jong Il‘s interesting, yet bizarre, life.
One thing that cannot be disputed, however, is that the Hennessy swirling, cigar chomping leader of North Korea was committed to his sense of style.

The leader was known for his uniform look that included a zippered tunic, matching pants and his infamous sunglasses.
It is also rumored that the 5′ 2″ Kim wore platform boots to enhance his height. Kim also favored jackets and anoraks, and sometimes if the urge would become him, he would slip into a jumpsuit or a fur hat.
Kim Jong-Il’s style was so esteemed that the North Korean newspaper claimed his suits were a causing a global fashion phenomenon…did we mention that this was a communist newspaper?
