Within minutes of her birth, Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s baby girl Blue Ivy Carter’s “Twitter account” was pumping out a series of witty tweets, the first of the series announcing her arrival with a simple “I’m here bitchess!”

It goes without saying that like many other accounts that have surfaced since the power couple’s announcement of their pregnancy, @ivybluecarter was not a real Twitter account. The account didn’t even feature Blue’s correct name, but Twitter axed it anyway.

GlobalGrind received this exclusive email this morning from the creator of the now extinct @IvyBlueCarter Twitter account, who just so happens to be a shoe designer:

I am the one who created the @ivybluecarter phony account and we got over 22,000 followers before it was shut down after 8 hours. It was a crazy idea for fun but its amazing how fast people were following the account knowing it was clearly not real. I created the account to accumulate enough followers to promote my shoe business Flat Out of Heels (@flatoutofheels) and I enlisted a friend, Dawn Marbury to help me come up with clever tweets, she planned to promote her book she recently self published called “Everything I Miss At Home”(@EIMAHXperience)…we had big plans for that twitter but Twitter shut me down before I could get enough promotion in…I still do not understand the basis behind them shutting down our account, I think it is extremely unfair. I want them to reinstate my account, they had no right to shut it down, there are many, many celebrity parody accounts so why would this one be different?! Twitter needs to give us an answer on why it was shit down…especially if the baby’s real name is Blue Ivy….

Well, there you have it, the Ivy Blue Carter who entertained you while Beyonce was chilling in the maternity ward is Dawn W. Dickson, the President & CEO of Flat Out of Heels, who just wanted to promote her business.

What do you think? Did Twitter have the right to shut her down?
