Guess what? It’s Fridayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Let’s celebrate making it through another week of work or school with another edition of Freebie Friday! If you’re located in Dallas, Texas, it’s your turn to learn what’s free to do in your city.

Visit the John F. Kennedy Memorial.

The simple, concrete memorial is located 200 yards from where the President was assassinated. The space is 30 foot high with concrete walls and includes a slight opening. According to the designer it is “not a memorial to the pain and sorrow of death but a permanent tribute to the joy and excitement of one man’s life.” The memorial is located towards the west end of Dallas’s downtown. It is on Market Street between Main Street and Commerce Street.

Financial Tip of The Day!

Make your own coffee.

We know those lattes at Starbucks are delicious, but save $4 by simply brewing your own coffee at home. Of course that means spending the cash to buy a coffee maker but in the end you’ll end up saving more money! Besides won’t you rather make your own coffee perfectly the way you like it instead of the way the girl behind the counter does?
