J. Cole had a lot more to celebrate than his 27th anniversary in the Cole world last night.

Coming down from some huge successes in 2011, such as had quite the year earning a 2012 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and collaborating with Jay-Z, Trey Songz and Drake on his debut album “Cole World – The Sideline Story”

Cole has been bringing in his birthday with appearances around NYC, and recently flew the coop to celebrate the day of his birth in Sin City.

Earlier in the week, Cole shut down New York’s Webster hall for his pre-b-day celebration where he treated party-goers with an impromptu performance of “Work Out.”

Before performing, Cole addressed the nay-sayers and said: “When I put this shit out, I had ni**as very close to my circle doubting me and they didn’t know what this song was about, so six months later we platinum, gold album. New York City, I love the shit out of ya’ll,” he said. “We still got a little bit of time left. Let’s get fucked up, let’s celebrate in this motherfucker.”

We wonder if he gave Vegas the same level of love! Check out the photos of J.Cole arriving at his Vegas party in the gallery above.
