When we think of two-faced animals, we think of beasts, monsters and something not from this world.

STORY: The Craziest Animals Ever Found On Earth!

Port Charlotte, Florida natives Nash Hand and his wife Amanda Forsythe were shocked when their cat gave birth to a two-headed cat, otherwise known as a Janus.

According to WWSB ABC-7, the cats have the ability to simultaneously work together. Amanda Forsyth spoke on the ability of the cat named after Batman’s Harvey Dent:

“They simultaneously work together, the two faces…When he eats on one side it looks like he is eating on the other. When he meows it comes out of both sides.”

The couple is choosing to keep the two-faced cat, despite the high costs of its veterinary bills and unlikelihood of surviving.

There is much hope for the two-headed kitten, considering The Guinness Book of World Records reports that a Janus lived for a length of 12 years.
