After more than five months of anticipation, Kanye West and Jay-Z officially dropped the video for their smash hit, “Niggas in Paris.”

And even though the duo didn’t actually take the trip out to Paris for the shoot, the video still ended up being quite the spectacle.

VIDEO: Jay-Z & Kanye West “Niggas In Paris”

There’s no great plot here; the video is a performance piece of Jay and ‘Ye rocking “Niggas in Paris” in Los Angeles’ Staples Center; the arena where the two performed their smash number one hit a relentless 10 times in a row back in December.

Even though there’s nothing new about performance videos, this one stands out.

There’s a multitude of bright lights, the camera does all these nifty tricks, and the beat changes.

The video comes off as being very Kanye.

In fact, it is very Kanye because the rapper/producer didn’t just star in it – he also directed it.

This isn’t the first time Kanye was behind the camera. He’s directed or co-directed a number of his videos, and he even helped out his pal Drake when it was time to shoot his “Best I Ever Had” video.

So we decided to dig up some of his older clips and let you decide how “Niggas in Paris” compares to his work in the past.

Give them all a quick view and then let us know which you like best!
