Valentine’s Day is a special day for Tyrese. Not only is it the premiere “day of love,” but it’s also marks the re-release of his latest album, which is now titled, Open Invitation: Reloaded.
GlobalGrind chit-chatted with Tyrese about what he loves in a woman, his turn offs, deal breakers and, of course, his celebrity crushes.

GlobalGrind: What does Tyrese like in a woman?
Tyrese: I love confidence. I love an unannounced confidence. Like, a woman will say “I got confidence”—you either have it or you don’t. Confidence doesn’t come with an announcement.
I love a smart woman. I love a woman that has views and perspectives and outlooks on life. I love spirituality. I love an encouraging and motivating woman.
I love a woman that knows how to cook. I love a woman that knows how to take care of a man and can hold the fort down all across the board. There are a lot of girls. There are a lot of ladies. There are a lot of women, but a woman- a woman, is hard to find these days.
There are so many women I’ve ran into, that I’ve dated, where they are the most beautiful and the most attractive and all of these different things, but yet the most insecure and fragile. I’m like what is going on? What is that about? And, it’s because they been in these relationships with these guys, in the past, that have worn them down, broken them down, messed with their confidence and their self-esteem.
What’s a deal-breaker, turn-off for you?
Even though I’m very capable of teaching—If I feel like I have to teach you everything you need to know about being a woman and how to take care of a man, that’s a little too much for me.
Where’s the craziest place you ever had sex?
I would say it was in Jamaica. It was on a boat dock that went all the way out into the water. So in the middle of the night, it was a full moon out, me and my girl at the time walked all the way out. The dock was very, very long and it went out really far into the water. Basically we grabbed some pillows, sheets, covers and candles. It was a full moon and we were surrounded by water. It was the perfect night and we had the wildest sex on the tip of that dock, Yeah, that sh*t was crazy, I’m telling you. It was the night to remember.
When it comes to the ladies what do you prefer: face or body?
Both.
So, what happens if the girl has a banging body but like, ehhh, her face is OK? Does she get play from Tyrese?
I got a lot of people who look very, very different. I’m not one of them cutthroat guys that’s extra picky. I’m not that guy. I’m a man’s man. A fat ass gets you anywhere in life. If you don’t know how to use your ass, you need to just pay more attention to the way things are done. Ass has gotten people far in life. I love a woman that takes care of her body. I’m a legs and butt man; I’m not really a titty man. I appreciate breast, but I look at breast as an appetizer and I’ll be looking for that main course meal.
So your favorite part of a women’s body is her legs or her ass, right?
I’m a legs and butt man, yeah. For sure. If I see a woman walking in a skirt or a dress or whatever, and her legs are out, and when she walks you see the muscle on the side—it pops out. I think they call it “Quad Split.” That’s my sh*t. That’s why I love Brazilian women, because their legs are just like, “What is going on over here?”
Out of all the celebrities you have encountered who do you think had the best legs?
Rihanna. Rihanna does it for me right now. Halle Berry is my number one. If things don’t ever work out with her and that Olivier guy she’s dating, I’m stepping in. I’m not wasting any more time.
