Blue Ivy Carter's First Public Appearance! (PHOTOS)
Celebrity friends of the Carter family have been very creative when gifting Baby Blue Ivy.
Kelly Rowland dropped a few stacks when she purchased cashmere blankets and onesies for Jay-Z & Beyonce’s new baby girl and Gwyneth Paltrow, long time friend to the Carter clan, dropped close to a G on a Bugaboo Cameleon Stroller just so Baby Blue could ride in style.
Oprah sent over a trunk full of children’s books to start off Blue Ivy’s education, and Poppa Jay dropped $20,000 on a crib made of solid cedar and birch.
Very creative gifts, but not as special as what Questlove is cooking up for baby girl.
When you’re the daughter to two of the biggest artists in the industry, music definitely plays a big role in your life.
So when Questlove dropped word in a Rolling Stone interview that he planned to gift Baby Blue Ivy with an exclusive iPod filled with some of music’s greatest tracks, Jay was sure to let the homie know that he’d be waiting on that playlist promise.
“By the time she’s three,” said The Roots drummer, “Blue Ivy will be ‘baptized’ in music.”
It’ll probably be a breeze for Brother Quest to whip up an unbelievable playlist for Baby Blue.
But just incase he misses a few, we here at GlobalGrind comprised a list of the top tracks that should be on Baby Carter’s perfect playlist.
