Brianna Perry aka The Young Rich Bandit, has been tearing up the streets with her latest mixtape, Face Off.

LIST: Brianna Makes GlobalGrind’s Top Female Emcees

It was released to amazing reviews and proved that she’s loaded lyrically. When you add in a bunch of viral videos, Brianna is making a name for herself in the rap game.

We had the chance to sit down with the Young Rich Bandit so you could learn a little more about her. Check it out below!

GlobalGrind: You’ve become a bit of a sex symbol. How does your dad feel about that?

Brianna The YRB: My dad, he is extremely supportive of me and my career and of course there boundaries and limits with everything, because he always wants me to remain a young lady. And be true to myself.

You’ve been rapping for a long time. Since you were 5 years old. How do you feel now being older but still knowing you have a lot more growth?

The passion is still there, when I’m excited just to see what I learned from ages 5 to 7 to right now; I just celebrated a birthday; I turned 20 on January 11. So to see what I learned in that time period, I’m excited to see all the new things that I will learn as I continue living and continue working in music. It’s just exciting to me.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Five years, definitely farther then where I am now. Hopefully in the movie circuit and just doing a lot of big things. I’m always open to new opportunities and I want to venture off and not just stay based to music.

You said acting, Drake said his ideal role would be Barack Obama. Do you see yourself playing Michelle Obama anytime soon?

I can play Michelle. Who wouldn’t want to play Michelle?!

Who would your ideal role be?

I love Angelina Jolie. Just to play an assassin or in an action film doing my own stunts, that would be fun for me.

What kind of movie does Brianna like?

I love horror films. The last movie I’ve seen was The Devil Inside and before that one, Paranormal Activity 3.

At age 9, you were on a album that was actually out before: Trina’s album.

Yes, Diamond Princess.

How was it the first time you heard yourself on an album that was actually out?

I don’t even know if I really understood that that wasn’t common. I don’t think I understood that till I got a little older. Because I prior to being on Trina’s album I’ve been on local artist in Miami’s mixtapes. I guess I was so young that I really didn’t understand it.

So the 9-year-old Brianna compared mixtapes to albums?

No, but at the time I didn’t see it because I was so young. So Trina was doing her thing, Trick was doing his thing and to me Rick Ross is just as big as those artists. But at the time he was still underground doing his mixtape, working his mixtape game and I came up under him, so in my eyes he was a big star. I compared his work to theirs.

You came up under Rick Ross, how did you meet him?

We’re both from Carol City and my parents, him, E-class all went to school together. Childhood friends, so it was just destined for me to be in, because that was my upbringing and what I been around.
