Harlem rapper Azealia Banks is collaborating with Sri Lanka’s certified bad girl M.I.A.!
Both femcees have been surrounded by controversy lately, but that isn’t stopping them from cooking up hits in the lab.
Azealia had the Twitterverse revved up yesterday when she spoke out against Australian rapper Iggy Azalea’s spot in XXL’s 2012 Freshman Class.
But after stating her views, Azealia got right down to business and dropped a bomb on music lovers.
She is indeed cooking up some fire with Miss M.I.A.
Azealia and M.I.A. have been embraced by the fashion world over the past few months. M.I.A.’s “Bad Girls” was featured in tons of fashion shows during Mercedes Benz Fall 2012 Fashion Week.
Azealia actually got the chance to perform at fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld’s house during Paris Fashion Week.
Not quite sure if M.I.A. will appear on Azealia’s debut album Broke With Expensive Taste or on M.I.A’s forthcoming project, but we know, whatever it may be is going to be great.
