Whitney Houston jokes aren’t allowed … at least, not yet.

A greeting card, which reads, “Next time you think of dating the bad boy, consider Whitney Houston,” has come under fire. The card pokes fun at Whitney’s downward spiral and marriage to Bobby Brown and is currently in the process of being pulled from department store Target shelves.

Target thinks the greeting card – which was actually released before her death – is in poor taste and have decided that selling it to the mass population would be inappropriate as well.

Target told TMZ:

“The card was in our stores prior to Ms. Houston’s death. As soon as this was brought to our attention, we began the process of removing the card from all applicable stores.”

The card is a tad bit offensive, especially considering many are still grieving the loss of a great legend.

We guess you can say it was bad timing … but we’re glad Target is taking action to remove the card from their shelves.

But we want to know, what do you think about the card? Would you buy it?
