In the latest issue of Elle Magazine, the Project Runway host reveals her frustration and the emotional turmoil she’s felt since her separation from husband Seal.

“I feel like I’m in the eye of the tornado. It’s emotions inside of your body that are a tornado. And then the outside world doing all this craziness—with you wanting it or not wanting it—is another tornado. But as hard as it is, so is life.”
Heidi also states that she doesn’t feel the need to publicize the low times she shared with Seal. She would rather keep those moments private, but she understands that their good times are already out there for the world to see.
“I don’t want to talk positively or negatively about the ups and downs that we had. Every couple goes through things. Unfortunately, we’re in the public, so the highs are out there. But I don’t think it’s necessary—especially for our children—to have the lows being printed in magazines and talked about.”
She also feels like Seal should have remained quiet about their split, but knows he’s a grown man who is going to do what he feel likes. She revealed, “He’s going to be 50 next year,” she said of Seal, whose name is tattooed on her arm. “He’s a grown man. I can’t tell him what to do and what not to do. It’s hard.”
