Tributes to the late great Whitney Houston are still rolling in and the cast of Glee is joining the list to pay homage to the star.
Fox’s musical hit show will be shooting a Whitney Houston episode filled with 8 of the legends hit songs.
Just yesterday Glee star Lea Michelle took to her twitter to reveal some details, saying:
“Starting a new episode today. A very special tribute to one of the world’s most amazing singers. Very excited about this one..”
Music Supervisor of the show, P.J. Bloom says he wasted no time trying to organize the episode, pitching the idea to co-creator Ryan Murphy right away. P.J. says:
“As soon as the news hit, I texted Ryan and said, ‘We should do something. If we don’t celebrate her in one complete episode, I’m sure we’ll continue to acknowledge her music in the show.”
Sounds like the entire crew has big plans and are very excited for this tribute.
