It’s finally here: March Madness. Get ready for two full weeks of basketball, beer, bros and brackets.
Of course, GlobalGrind had to put together a list for the ladies; one that doesn’t just involve statistics. But don’t worry, there’s still a ranking system.
By no means are these names listed in order of importance, but in light of March Madness, we just wanted to take the time out to compile a brief list of some of the sexiest college men slam-dunking it out on the court!

Patric Young, Florida
A Jacksonville native, Patric is 6′ 9″ at 247 lbs. He collected 2010 All-America honors from McDonald’s, Parade Magazine (second team) and Slam Magazine (honorable mention)…Named the 2010 FHSAA Class 2A Player of the Year after averaging 13 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks…Led Providence to the Class 2A state championship with a 31-1 record and was named the 2010 First Coast Player of the Year by the Florida Times-Union…Notched seven points and nine rebounds in 15 minutes in the 2010 McDonald’s All-American game…Coached by Jim Martin at Providence.

Tim Abromaitis, Notre Dame
Tim is 6′ 8″ at 236 lbs. He returns to the Irish for a fifth season and will serve as a team captain for the second straight season; one of the top perimeter shooters in college basketball … can score from any spot on the floor and has an overall game that is very efficient. Tim is a strong free-throw shooter, he takes advantage of his ability to get to the charity stripe … a highly-skilled and intelligent player and an all-BIG EAST performer… ranked 40th in school history with 1,109 career points (13.7 ppg.) and ranks 10th in school history with 160 made three-pointers, while his 42.2 percent clip from three-point range currently ranks sixth in Fighting Irish history.
Kyle Weems, Missouri State
Missouri State’s first Division I AP All-American and first-ever MVC Player of the Year, Weems was also named to NABC All-District (first team) and USBWA All-Region teams as a junior, while leading the Bears to a 26-9 season … He was a four-time MVC Player of the Week and was named MSU Coors Player of the Year after he tallied double figures in 33 of 35 games, one shy of MSU season record … Finished second in the MVC in scoring (16.0), second in defensive rebounds (5.2), third in total rebounds (6.9) and third in steals (1.4), in addition to being among the league’s top 15 players in 11 of 13 categories and in the top 10 in 10 categories. His 561 points was the 12th-best season total in Bears’ history.
Mike Glover, Iona
Bronx-bred Mike is 6′ 7″ at 215 lbs. Returns for his final season with the Maroon & Gold after a breakout 2011-12 campaign. Preseason Top 50 list for the John R. Wooden Award, CollegeInsider.com’s Lute Olson Preseason All-America Team and the MAAC’s Preseason Player of the Year. NABC All-District First Team, MBWA All-Met First Team, All-MAAC First Team, Basketball Times NCAA Newcomer of the Year, CollegeInsider.com’s MAAC Player of the Year and Mid-Major All-American team. Extremely strong performer that also possesses great quickness in the post… Possesses good leaping ability and an excellent touch around the basket… Expanded his game in the offseason by working hard on his ball-handling and outside shooting ability… Earned the nickname “Optimus Prime” for his NYC street ball prowess during the summers.
Robert Sacre, Gonzaga
Robert is 7′ 0″ at 260 lbs and most recently played for Canada in 2010 FIBA World Championships in Turkey in September-averaged 2.4 ppg, 2.0 rpg, scored 8 points against Spain while playing tournament-high 14 minutes, going 3-for-6 from the field, 2-for-2 from the free throw line. He grabbed 3 rebounds against both New Zealand and Spain. Canada went winless in five games and he’s one of only two players to start all 35 games. Oklahoma State, 17/12 at Portland… 15 rebounds at Wake Forest was a career high and had double-digit rebounds in two others games. Ten at Washington State and at Loyola Marymount to give him six double-digit rebounding games. He scored 11 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in season opener against Southern University where his father, Greg LaFleur, was the athletic director.
Eloy Vargas, Kentucky
Hailing from Moca, Dominican Republic Eloy played in all 38 games last year, averaging 1.5 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per game. He pulled down five rebs. in the Final Four vs. UConn .and made impact in win over Florida in the SEC Tournament championship with two pts. and four rebs. in 10 minutes of action. Grabbed two rebs. in six minutes vs. Ole Miss in the SEC Tourn quarterfinals. He also blocked two shots against Florida at home. Eloy had two pts. and two rebs. against South Carolina at home … Finished with two pts., four rebs., and one assist in 14 mins., against Florida and played 14 minutes against LSU, pulling down four rebs. … Played nine minutes against Auburn, pulling down three rebs. and blocking one shot.
Ian Miller, Florida State
Has become one of top players in a golden era of Florida State basketball…showed his ability to run the Seminoles’ offense. Is one of Florida State’s all-time top 3-point shooting players as he made 24 shots and shot .358 from the bonusphere as a freshman… averaged 5.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in three NCAA Tournament games and in one ACC Tournament game in 2011 and totaled 10 points against Virginia Tech in his first career ACC Tournament game. He scored seven points against Texas A&M in his first career NCAA Tournament game; made four 3-point field goals in his first four career postseason games. Ian helped Florida State defeat four ranked teams during his freshman season including No. 1 ranked Duke (66-61, Jan. 12) for the fourth win in school history over the nation’s No. 1 team…the Seminoles also earned victories over No. 5 ranked Notre Dame in the NCAA Tournament (71-57, March 20).
Trevor Cooney, Syracuse
6′ 4″ at 185 lbs, Cooney, freshman, secured a spot on the 2010 USA Basketball Men’s Under 18 squad … Team USA opened the tournament by defeating U.S. Virgin Islands, 131-63, and Cooney had 15 points in 17 minutes. When against Mexico, the Americans won, 114-38, and Cooney contributed 16 points. Team USA defeated Argentina, 88-67 and Cooney had five points. In the semifinals against Canada, Cooney had eight points and Team USA won, 122-89. The Americans claimed the gold medal by defeating Brazil, 81-78 … Over the five games, Cooney averaged 8.8 points and finished second on the squad with 11 three-pointers.
John Jenkins, Vanderbilt
John is 6′ 4″ at 220 lbs and was named as an All-SEC first-team selection by the league’s coaches and media in 2010-11 as a sophomore…One of the nation’s top shooters from three and named to the SEC All-Freshman team and was named the Sixth Man of the Year by the league’s coaches in 2009-10. Averaged 11.0 points per game, and shot 48.3 percent (72-149) from three in his freshman season.
Aaron Craft, Ohio State
Ohio native Aaron reachs 6′ 2″ and weighs in at 190 lbs. He wasted no time adjusting to the college game, ending the regular-season as the Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year, as well as a member of the Big Ten All-Freshman (Coaches/Media) and Big Ten All-Defensive (Coaches) Teams. He played in all 37 games, tallying a team-leading 177 assists against 79 turnovers (2.1 ratio), setting the program record for single-game assists with 15 vs. George Mason in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. He also posted a Big Ten-best 73 steals on the season, breaking the OSU freshman record for single-game steals with seven vs. Iowa (1/19/11).
