Swizz Beats & Alicia Keys' $17.9M SoHo Penthouse In NYC (PHOTOS)
They say “he who lives in glass houses should never throw stones.”
The 5 bedroom, 4 full and 4 half bathroom penthouse went back on the market just two short years after Swizz and Alicia bought the house. They originally paid $12,750,000 for the duplex penthouse, but the price is still well justified because when Lenny Kravitz previously owned the apartment, the original listing prices ranged between $19,500,000 and $12,500,000.
Listing information shows the duplex penthouse, which has a third level roof terrace, measures in at a mansion-sized 6,167 square feet and contains 4-5 bedrooms. Monthly maintenance and common charges for the penthouse that sits atop a full-service boutique building—once home to Hole rocker and Twitter princess Courtney Love—run a hefty-hefty-hefty $11,564 per month. Listing information also indicates the penthouse property comes with separate and private wine cellar and storage/dressing rooms, presumably located somewhere in the bowels of the red-brick and cast iron building.
The entire place is filled with artwork, has a ridiculous amount of clean open space and as mentioned earlier, a whole lot of glass. We don’t know what their monthly Windex budget is, but we do know that the house is beautiful. Take a look at a few pictures from Swizz Beats & Alicia Keys’ $17.95 milli penthouse duplex in the gallery above.
