Now, Rocawear and the New York Yankees are making a fashion statement that stems beyond the fitted cap. Rocawear has announced their plan for a new Yankee sponsorship for the 2012 season.
According to a press release, the clothing company announced the sponsorship today with the 27 time World Series Champions.

Rocawear will have branded signage in Yankee stadium and integrated promotions throughout the season, in addition to integrated promotions.
Jameel Spencer, EVP Marketing, men’s division, Iconix Brand Group, Inc., commented on the new collaboration stating, “Jay-Z has been a long-time fan of the Yankees, regularly attends games and has even included his favorite team in song lyrics, so this was a natural partnership. Rocawear, along with Jay-Z are very excited to be working with the Yankees for the 2012 season. We feel another championship in ‘12!”
Damn, Jay! From the Nets to the Yankees, he may have everyone watching their throne.
