Toronto R&B singer The Weeknd made his Coachella debut over the weekend.
The House Of Balloons singer performed his artillery of mixtape hits in a 50 minute set at the Outdoor Theatre.
Despite the weather conditions, The Weeknd maintained his cool persona under the scorching desert heat. He performed hits from his trilogy of mixtapes and even rocked out “Crew Love,” his smash hit with rapper Drake.
The Weeknd wasn’t the only newcomer to make a debut at Coachella. Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky took to the Coachella stage as well.
A$AP Rocky rapped fan favorites off his mixtape LiveLoveA$AP, but the real surprise came when he debuted a few new tracks.
Rocky debuted his brand new “Thuggin Noise” and a few other tracks. After his Coachella performance, Rocky’s collaborative track “Big Spender” featuring Theophilus London also hit the ‘net.
