It’s been ten years since we last heard Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes on a new track.

The singer, who was one-third of the legendary pop band TLC, was killed on this very day 10 years ago in a car accident, while shooting a documentary in Honduras. She was 30 years old when she died.

To coincide with the 10 year anniversary since her death, a new track featuring the singer is being released and sold on iTunes, with the proceedings going to the Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes Foundation.

The track, which has been floating around the Internet since February, but is only now being released, is called “Fantasies” and it’s performed by Dayton Family front man, Bootleg.

Lisa assists by helping out with the hook and spitting a killer 16. You would think it’s 1998 again, as she raps:

“What would I do if I was sitting on top of the world? Money and fame was written like diamonds and pearls. Cadillacs to Lamborghinis to name a few. Silent dreams in my head to ride away with you. In the mist of the night I stand to leave it all. Just one look in your eyes will keep me standing tall.”

It’s been 10 years, and Lisa could still hang with any female rapper out here lyrically.
