The Weeknd has been one of the most elusive and reserved new artists to come out in years. Even though last year he dropped three critically acclaimed projects — House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence — the singer has stayed out of the limelight, for the most part.

Slowly and surely, however, he’s coming out of his shell. First, he rocked the stages of Coachella two weeks ago, and then last night he did an epic performance in Brooklyn at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

The good folks at JDotShots were at the show and they documented everything.

The video up above is a quick synopsis of what went down last night. In it, we see the fans getting super excited for the show (including one fan who paid $160 bucks for tickets!). The singer ran through a number of his classic songs including “D.D.,” “Loft Music,” “Rolling Stone” and his collabo with Drake, “Crew Love.”

The weekend is currently in Washington DC tonight, but he’ll be coming back to New York for a show on Saturday at the Bowery Ballroom

You weren’t at the show?

Bummer. However, you can still enjoy the video above!
