While the Met Gala was going on and fashion’s elite was out having the time of their lives, Kidult was out causing havoc on the streets of New York.
The Parisian, artist who has painted or vandalized (depending on your view point), the store fronts of Christian Louboutin, Hermes, Celine, Louis Vuitton, and Supreme finally hit Marc Jacobs.

Kidult, who used a fire extinguisher filled with paint as his main tool, wrote the word ART right across the entire storefront of the Mercer street location of Marc Jacobs.
The brand tweeted a photo of the Marc Jacobs logo on the store front with a neon pink streak through it with a caption that read “art by Art Jacobs,” little did they know that Kidult was the culprit. Had they known, they would have seen that his Twitter had a similar picture with the entire store front and a caption reading “I did some ART?”

But why the question mark at the end of the Kidult caption? We don’t know whether or not he even believes that this is art. Is it an anti-consumerism act of vandalism? Either way, in a strange way we still think it’s kind of cool.
