Coleworld: The Sideline Story rapper confirmed to Bootleg Kev that he is indeed embarking on a new collaborative album with Black Hippy Crew frontman Kendrick Lamar.
J.Cole confirmed the rumors by stating:
Album man! Album! We’re working on that. We got back in and started bouncing ideas. The vibe is so good. We got like four to five together.
J.Cole also spoke on not making MTV’s Hottest MC’s list and revealed how he felt.
It’s inexcusable. (laughs) Platinum single, gold album, Grammy nominated, you know? It kind of let me know what that whole thing was. There’s a couple of people on that panel I respect so no disrespect to them. It had me questioning like ‘what is that culture we live in where like a few people who talk reckless on Twitter and gather followers looking for attention or looking for some worth in the industry have this opinion that matters?'”

Besides working on new music, J.Cole is currently on the Club Paradise tour with Drake and friends.
