Last night was the star studded and highly anticipated premiere of What To Expect When You’re Expecting, based on the book by Heidi Murkoff. The romantic dramedy is said to be a look at love through the eyes of five interconnected couples experiencing the thrills and surprises of having a baby, and ultimately coming to understand the universal truth that no matter what you plan for, life doesn’t always deliver what’s expected.

We don’t think that anyone knows about that in Hollywood more than Jennifer Lopez, who also happens to be one of the stars of the film. Her highly publicized relationship with dancer Casper Smart may not have been what she envisioned after her divorce, but we have to admit that she looks extremely happy.
The 42-year-old actress was glowing at last night’s premiere, wearing a long flowing Grecian gown, dark red lipstick, and a lot of diamonds. One particular piece of jewelry ended up on her ring finger, but it definitely wasn’t a diamond, maybe a promise ring of sorts?

Cameron Diaz also showed up on the red carpet in a cool, sheer black cocktail dress that showed off all her curves. She sported a cropped, blonde hairstyle paired with light lips and as usual, was all sunny smiles.
