Santigold rocked New York’s Irving Plaza stage last night during Samsung’s 5 Million Fans Appreciation Concert.

But she wasn’t the only ‘artist’ to rock the mic.

After performing a few songs solo, Santigold announced to concert-goers that she was currently ‘interviewing’ a fan to join her crew as a potential background dancer.

“Be nice. He’s a little shy,” Santigold told the crowd before she introduced the candidate.

Surprisingly, SNL’s Andy Samberg (dressed as Shy Ronnie) took to the stage dressed in his signature striped sweater, khaki pants and white kicks.

The band started playing “Fame” off Santigold’s new album Master of My Make-Believe. After a few timid moments, Shy Ronnie broke out into his spastic dance and even gave a shout out to Brooklyn!

Santi struggled through the hook as she watched Ronnie do his thing in the background.

But we can’t even be mad. No one would be able to keep their cool with Ronnie around.
