The Jersey Shore reality star sat down with MTV News to discuss his rehab stint for the last time.
DETAILS: The Situation Needs A Sober Sally For “Jersey Shore”
After rumors of alcohol and drug addiction, the 29-year-old clears the air, revealing it was painkillers that set him back. He says:
“After a while, I thought maybe this will help my schedule out. I’m always on planes, I’m flying here, I’m flying there …being in this business is not easy. It’s definitely not for everybody.”
He explained, “I thought that it might’ve gave me energy. I thought it helped me because it’s a pain killer; I’m not tired anymore.”
He now believes he’s “at a good place,” although it didn’t come easily. “In the beginning, it was a lot of rainy days,” he told Sway.
We’re glad to have the old Mike back, and hope he can stay clean. Can we get another season of Jersey Shore now?
