When Kanye West embarked on his Twitter rant about that sh*t he don’t like while riding around New York City, one would have thought that New Yorkers were the worst dressed people in the country, but Travel + Leisure says differently.

The publication published their annual America’s Favorite Cities Survey, which includes ratings from innocent readers on everything from their ratings on standard things like a city’s food and diversity to of course, fashion sense.

Lists like these absolutely cannot be made without residents of some cities getting their feelings hurt, so while there were no winners or losers, there were some cities that ranked very, very, very low (OK we’re talking bottom of the list) when it came to their fashion palettes.

With Anchorage, Alaska coming in as the worst dressed city on the list (because dressing for that cold must be a daunting feat) we made it a point to find stylish celebs from 5 of the bottom 10 cities to prove that maybe, just maybe, there is a glimmer of fashionable hope at the end of the button hole.
