Kitty Pryde is more than just an X-Men character, she’s the newest femcee to hit the rap scene and have hip-hop enthusiasts take notice – to the point they have to take a listen!

After all, who doesn’t love white girl rappers?

Kreayshawn and Iggy Azalea are two white girls hip-hop can’t help but be on like syrup on pancakes.

Now there’s Kitty Pryde, who is sure to follow in the success of these two predecessors.

All three of these femcees already share one big thing in common: they can attribute their buzz to the internet landscape.

LIST: GlobalGrind’s 10 Favorite Up & Coming Female Rappers!

If you’re not familiar with the ‘rap game Taylor Swift,’ a moniker Pryde likes to go by, don’t worry, you’ll be reciting some of her songs in no time.

Kitty Pryde, whose real name is Kathryn Beckwith, is a 19-year-old repping Daytona Beach, South Florida with a distinctive nonchalant style that will have you saying “Hello Kitty” like a female white Japanese bobtail cat with a red bow.

But instead of a red bow, this Kitty has a red head of hair.

The way she approaches her subject matter exudes a subtle sarcasm and mindset that is so not what you would consider ‘real hip-hop,’ but that’s what GlobalGrind loves about her.

She’s different, not afraid to be herself, and has “Prince$$” tattooed on the inside of her bottom lip.

Probably her most notable song right now has to be “Okay Cupid,” a song in which she professes her love for Detroit rapper Danny Brown off her HaHa, I’m Sorry EP, a follow up EP to The Lizzie McGuire Experience project.

With joints like “Justin Bieber” that mocks Beliebers and her Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe” remix called “Give Me Scabies,” which both take lighthearted jabs at pop music, Kitty reminds you of when Eminem was attacking boy bands and calling Britney Spears garbage.

Not saying she’s the female Shady like Nicki Minaj is the ‘female Weezy,’ but it seems like from what we’ve listened to, you can never have too much Pryde!
