While Bey’s thigh-high split was busy rivaling Angelina Jolie’s famed moment at the Oscars, Jay had some style competition of his own.

Jay was donning a peculiar, yet familiar look in a gray suit with a white button down (that was buttoned all the way up) complemented with what Twitter donned a pair of “Tic-Tac” shoes.
But just like the interrupted acceptance speech, we felt like we have seen this outfit before.
Lo and behold, the look was reminiscent of the garb Kanye donned in his promotional photos for the release of his album 808s and Heartbreaks back in 2008, save for the customized Marc Jacobs heart pin and Ksubi sunglasses.

Considering his Kanye moment on stage, we aren’t sure if Jay’s fashion moment was an intentional inside joke that they cooked up during an intimate WTT moment, but it doesn’t hurt to beg the question of, who wore it better?
