According to My Fox Philly, prosecutors had hoped the judge would impose a three-year sentence, which would be the max under Sigel’s case.

Sigel is no stranger to the courtroom. In 2004, he was sentenced to a year in prison on federal weapons charges.

In 2008, he returned to jail on parole violations, and along with the tax evasion, he is currently facing a lawsuit stemming from a shooting incident outside a Philadelphia radio station.
