A day after releasing the nude ad for her fragrance, Fame, Lady Gaga is giving all of her fans a peek of the process behind creating the perfume in a short film titled, “Formulation.”

Beginning with a scene straight from the Haus Laboratories in Paris, “Formulation” then cuts to a scene where men are filling beakers with different formulas that helped to create the Fame perfume.

As the two-minute clip continues to play, words are spoken in French with English captions across the screen that read, “The first of its kind in fluid technology,” and viewers later learn that Fame is the “first ever black Eau de Parfum.”

Lady Gaga never appears in the short clip, and rather lets the French voiceover, English captions and images do all the talking about the creative process behind her fragrance.

Check the video above for a behind the scenes look of what it took to create the highly anticipated perfume, Fame, which is due out in September.
