The 32-year-old footballer stopped by the Today show and revealed the details about why he decided to set pen to paper. 

“Each and every day, I’m very personable with my fans. Each and everyday, because I try to live a normal life, I’m out in public, and I just get so many questions asked, so many people want to have their own opinions of what they thought should’ve happened. There perception of the situation and whether or not they know about the origin of what I was into and they just get it wrong. I want to help them get it right.”

In the new book entitled Finally Free, the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback wants to now set the record straight.

The memoir is set to be released September 4, 2012.
