Without being pressured by movie studio Warner Bros., Bale visited Aurora, Colorado to show his support to the victims who were killed and injured last Friday during a midnight showing of his latest film.

The English-born actor, who joined by his wife Sandra Blazic, visited both the hospital where victims were healing, and the memorial across the street from the Century 16 movie theater where the massacre occurred.
Bale has come a long way since his infamous on-set tirade, in which he uncontrollably yelled and screamed at a director of photography on the set of Terminator Salvation in 2008.
Since then, Bale has won an Academy Award and followed in his father’s activist footsteps, as late last year he filmed himself being assaulted while he tried to visit Chinese activist Chen Guangcheng.
Bale is turning into the Dark Knight himself as he continues to do the right thing in the wake of tragedy.
It’s inspiring to see celebrities come out of their shells and do the unexpected while helping those in need.
