Go Skydiving In New York

If you are a sports fan, you can put your mental and physical agility to the test by skydiving in New York. Long Island is 70 miles east of New York; however, it is a prime skydiving location. As you jump, you will see Hampton beaches and the Atlantic Ocean. As of September 2010, with Long Island Skydiving you can do a tandem jump for $209 on a weekday or $219 on the weekend.

Enjoy A Helicopter Ride Above The City

Helicopter rides offer an alternative way to see New York’s skyline. Liberty Helicopter Tours is the only company in New York to be member of the Tour Operators Program of Safety and has a fleet of 10 state-of-the-art helicopters. For the September 2010 price of $215 per person for a 20-minute flight, the experience includes passing over the Hudson River, Manhattan’s business district, Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building.
