Shootings in the streets of Chicago have wounded and possibly killed approximately 82 people in the last 10 days alone.

The violent incidents have led to Mayor Rahm Emanuel to issue 50 federal agents to assist in Chicago’s police department yesterday after they saw a teenage boy shot a block from President Obama’s Chicago home.
