According to the LA Times, Shepard could have received a maximum of 6 months in prison after he admitted that he destroyed documents and submitted false pictures during his legal case with the website.

The Associated Press accused the graphic artist of copy infringement, even though he claims that his art was under laws of fair-use.

Shepard has been fined $25,000 along with his probation after pleading guilty to criminal contempt back in February.
