Obama is in the game!

STORY: The DNC Moment That Made God Cry by Michael Skolnik

For the first time, President Obama has raised more money that his Republican contender Money Mitt Romney in the month of August.

Through online contributions, fundraisers and presidential appearances, Obama raised $114 million – as compared to “Money Mitt’s” take-in of $111.6 million. This is the first time that Barack has outraised the former Wall Street money-man since April of this year.

As the Wall Street Journal reports:

Obama campaign manager Jim Messina released a statement saying that cited broad support from more than 1.1 million donors, who gave an average contribution of $58 in August.

The key to fighting back against the special interests writing limitless checks to support Mitt Romney is growing our donor base, and we did substantially in the month of August. That is a critical down payment on the organization we are building across the country—the largest grass-roots campaign in history.

The race till November is getting hot on the streets, as the two candidates are picking up paper everywhere they go. Do you think that these two men need more money to win?
