The Paralympics recently came to a close in London, and like the Olympics, there were a ton of amazing athletes – all of whom are inspirational to the world and a treasure to their country.

The only difference between these Olympians and the ones in the 2012 London Olympics was that each of these athletes had some type of physical handicap that they had to overcome to compete.

Athletes with missing appendages or a complete lack of sight competed in the 2012 Paralympics and the Wade Brothers were there to capture some of their most triumphant moments.

Lyndon and Lyndsey Wade were commissioned by Channel4 to capture various Paralympians for their “Meet The Superhumans” ad campaign. The brothers describe their approach to the project like “imagining a sense of place and sensation, and creating images and videos that tell a cohesive story whether for film or print.” We would say that they were successful!
