It’s another Tuesday. It’s probably the most boring day of the week but this Tuesday is unlike any other Tuesday, because it is the 11th anniversary of the tragic events that happened on 9/11/2001 in New York City.

In order to remember all of those that we lost, we have put together some things you can do today to help you do just that. Check it all out below!

Visit The “Postcards” 9/11 Memorial In Staten Island:

This is the “POSTCARDS” Memorial on Staten Island NY (part of NYC). This memorial is in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11/01. On the inner walls are the names and profiles of each victim of 9/11 who lived on Staten Island. The memorial is surrounded by American Flags, and straight through the center you can see the “Towers of Light” which symbolizes where the World Trade Center once stood. The “Towers of Light” illuminate every 9/11 and fade into the sunrise of 9/12.

Visit The 9/11 Memorial City Lights at Night At Ground Zero:

National September 11 Memorial in NYC honors those killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001 and 2/26/1993. The Memorial’s twin reflecting pools are each nearly an acre in size and feature the largest man-made waterfalls in the North America. The pools sit within the footprints where the Twin Towers once stood. The names of every person who died in the 2001 and 1993 attacks are inscribed into bronze panels edging the Memorial pools, a powerful reminder of the largest loss of life resulting from a foreign attack on American soil and the greatest single loss of rescue personnel in American history.

Financial Tip Of The Day

Try Generic Brands Of Items You Buy Regularly

Instead of just picking up the ordinary brand of an item you buy, try out the store brand or generic version of the item. Likely, you’ll save a few cents now, but you’ll also likely discover that the store brand is just as good as the name brand – the only difference between the two, often, is the marketing. Once you’re on board the generic train, you’ll find your regular grocery bill getting smaller and smaller.
