Ever since Kim Kardashian started dating Kanye West, she has a whole new aura about her.

The lady who once hosted the grand opening for Charmin’s pubic toilets is somehow classier, cooler and chicer than we’ve ever seen her.

We’re not worried about Kim’s sex tape, reality show past, or even her multiple ex-boyfriends; none of that old stuff seems to matter anymore. Instead, Kim is on that new new.

We just know that since Kim started dating Kanye, she seems golden – much like everything else Kanye touches. The kid from Chicago has the Midas touch!

For those who don’t know, King Midas is popularly remembered in Greek mythology for his ability to turn everything he touched into gold, and we think that couldn’t describe Kanye West any better. So we’re going to take a look at Yeezy’s most golden transformations.

‘Ye was able to pluck Amber Rose from the strip club and get her a modeling contract with Ford. At one point, Amber was so important to pop culture she got her own spread in ELLE magazine. Then after the duo broke things off, she was able to get into Paris Fashion Week by herself, and eventually met the love of her life, Wiz Khalifa.

Playaz Circle were well on their way to becoming one hit wonders on Disturbing The Peace. Tity Boi was a struggling rapper until he decided to change his name to 2 Chainz, and quickly showed his hood he was one of the hottest emcees in Atlanta. His song “Spend It” got the attention of the masses, quickly earning him a spot on G.O.O.D. Music, where his feature price jumped to 100K a verse. Since 2 Chainz is on EVERYTHING, he can afford more chains.

Common has always been one of the best lyricists in the game, but after a relationship with Erykah Badu, and an album a lot of people thought was too far out there, it took Kanye West to put Common back on track. After a 3-year hiatus from rap, Common returned with the Yeezy-produced Be, which ended up being nominated for four Grammy awards.

Jay-Z is without a doubt the king of hip-hop, but Kanye played a hand in helping Hov redecorate his kingdom, so to speak. Joining up with Just Blaze, they gave Jay-Z a new sound and helped the Brooklyn emcee make one of his best albums to date. Now when you can upgrade a legend, you know you’re doing your thing. His work with Jay-Z has also helped Kanye West climb to the top of the rap game as an artist in and of himself.

At the end of the day, it seems like everything thing Kanye West touches turns to gold. From Pusha T, to Teyana Taylor, Big Sean, John Legend and many more!
