New polls show that President Obama has taken lead over his Republican contender Money Mitt in four crucial swing states, Ohio, Florida, Virgina and New Hampshire, where he currently holds a 5 to 7 point edge over the wealthy one-percenter in each.

The LA Times reports that a recent NBC/Wall St. Journal/Marist University poll shows Obama has the greatest lead in Ohio where he is likely to receive 50% of the votes while Romney would only get 43%.
In Florida, the president leads at 49% compared to Romney’s 43% and in Virginia it’s 49% to 44%.
A different survey shows that Obama is pulling 45% of the vote in New Hampshire while Romney has 40%.
Obama’s rise in the polls began shortly after the Democratic National Convention last week in Charlotte, NC which was a total success. Democratic champions like Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Warren spoke on the president’s behalf and Hollywood stars like Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria made appearances advocating for the commander-in-chief to be re-elected. In addition, the LA Times says other reasons pointing to Obama’s lead is:
Voters continue to view him more favorably than Romney, and Romney has been unable to persuade swing-state voters that he would be better able to handle the economy.
Obama needs to win the majority of these states in order to win the election. He’s doing his thing right now and we hope he can keep the momentum going!
