From launching a hair line with Indique, gracing the cover of several magazines and of course continuing to expand her shoe line Pastry with her sister, Angela Simmons has had quite an accomplished year and she celebrated all of it at her birthday bash last night.

While the power woman doesn’t officially turn 25 until September 18th, she gathered all her closest friends at the Martin Lawrence Gallery in NYC for an early celebration, which we imagine was an event to kickoff a series of festivities.
Who was on the guest list you ask…some of our fave celebs of course.
Tika Sumpter was in the house, along with Theophilus London, Tamar Braxton, Bridget Kelly who took a moment to serenade Angela during the party.
And the occasion wouldn’t be complete without some family love. Rev Run, Vanessa Simmons, Angela’s mom, Valerie Vaughn and our very own Russell Simmons were on the scene.

The bash went down in the trendy Soho neighborhood of the big apple and was hosted by PYNK mag and put together by Adair Curtis and Ang’s publicist Tamar Bazin.
The almost 25-year-old stunned in a black zipper embellished dress, which she co-designed with Edwing D’Angelo like a true fashionista. She tweeted:
Angela birthday is definitely off to a good start, she has already recieved some early gifts, posting photos of her cupcakes, flowers and a glam gift from Hermes.
