Last week, Gossip Girl star Blake Lively shocked the world when she married her beau Ryan Reynolds in a surprise ceremony.
The A-list couple didn’t skip the country to get married on a secluded beach, instead they headed down to South Carolina for a private wedding on Boone Hall Plantation; a ceremony partygoers called “right out of the movies.” It also didn’t hurt that they were married on the plantation where The Notebook was filmed!

Blake donned a one of a kind Marchesa gown with hand-draped silk tulle bodice adorned with crystal and rose gold embroidery.
According to partygoers, she kept her hair and her makeup very “fresh” and “natural” while she walked down the isle to a choir of children singing Frank Valli’s song “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”

The 25-year-old matched her dress with a pair of Christian Louboutins and according to a People Magazine source:
“Her dress was simple yet beautiful, slightly off-white, no big bows, no train. She didn’t wear anything gaudy; no big jewelry. She had small earrings, and I believe a very delicate necklace, but nothing really prominent.”
Shortly after the wedding, Blake was spotted smooching her new husband and showing off her new ring that is rumored to have run Ryan a whopping $2 million. The 12-carat diamond was designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, who worked with Ryan to create a flawless, light pink oval diamond. Check out photos of the ring here.
