Obama certainly has a lot on his plate, what with running for re-election as the President of the United States, but even though he’s traveling around the country, fundraising and swiping back at his opponent, Barack still finds time to have fun – all while getting his message across.

Last night, Barack took it from David Letterman’s couch to the 40/40 Club to chill with Jay and Beyonce!

While hitting up CBS’ The Late Show with Dave, President Obama responded to Mitt Romney’s claim that 47 percent of Americans are government dependent moochers who think they are “victims” and don’t pay income taxes.

Obama reacted to Romney’s harsh comments, stating that Americans are not “victims” and that voters should elect a president who is “not writing off big chunks of the country.” He also told David Letterman that, unlike his Republican contender, he believes that a president must stand for all Americans.

“If you want to be president you’ve got to work for everybody, not just for some. I don’t know what he was referring to, but I can tell you this. When I won in 2008, 47% of the American people voted for John McCain.  They didn’t vote for me. What I said on election night was even though you didn’t vote for me, I hear your voices and I’m going as work as hard as I can to be your president.”

“One of the things I’ve learned as President is you represent the entire country. And when I meet Republicans as I’m traveling around the country, they are hardworking family people who care deeply about this country.  And my expectation is if you want to be president you’ve got to work for everybody, not just for some.”

Later that night, Obama hung out with hip-hop royalty Jay-Z and Beyonce at a high-priced fundraiser held at Jay’s 40/40 Club in New York City. About 100 people paid $40,000 to attend the affair and Obama is expected to have raised $4 million for his campaign.
