Most people were shocked when actor/director Clint Eastwood debuted the “Invisible Obama” at the Republican National Convention a few weeks ago and spoke to an empty chair during his delivery speech.

Some found it amazingly awkward and questioned Eastwood’s sanity, while others thought it was done to undermine Barack Obama’s presidency. However, some Republicans have found a way to take Eastwood’s crazy antic to a reprehensible level of contempt.

A Republican homeowner in Austin, Texas named Bud Johnson lynched a chair in his front yard as a horrendous jest toward the country’s first African American President (seen above). The noose-hanging perpetrator struck back when confronted about the disturbing act from an Austin resident. He charged:

“I don’t really give a damn whether it disturbs you or not. You can take [your concerns] and go straight to hell and take Obama with you. I don’t give a sh*t. If you don’t like it, don’t come down my street.

Likewise, the same racially-motivated hate act of hanging a chair from a tree was also seen in Virginia over the weekend (seen below). The chair had a sign on it that read “NObama.”

Of course, these acts do not represent the vast majority of the Republican Party. But it’s ignorant and hateful people that put a damper on our nation as a whole.
