When Lil Wayne is committed to something, he’s committed. 

Over the last couple of months, skateboard-loving Weezy has really come into fruition. Every time we see the rapper, it seems like he’s cruising on his board. He even drops numerous skateboarding references in his newer music.

That’s why this new video for his “Same Damn Time” freestyle, a track off Wayne’s polarizing Dedication 4 mixtape, isn’t that surprising. In the video, which was shot by DJ Scoob Doo, we see various behind the scenes footage of Weezy and various other skaters doing what they love the most. (There is also some NSFW action going on here.)

It’s a pretty dope video if you love skating or Weezy, or skating-Weezy.

We don’t know about ya’ll, but we think skateboard-loving Weezy is here to stay.

The rapper recently partnered up with Mountain Dew and Glu Agency to open up a new skateboarding park in New Orleans called the Trukstop skate park. Check out the video the Associated Press shot down below. It’s a cool piece of footage where Wayne talks about why he opened the park up in NOLA.

And finally, in more Lil Wayne news, the iconic rapper just broke Elvis Presley’s record of most Billboard Hot 100 hits after “Celebration,” a song by The Game that also features Chris Brown, Tyga and Wiz Khalifa, entered the charts at number 62.
