Justin Bieber and millions of his fans on Twitter were heartbroken yesterday when news came out that

Avalanna Routh, also known as Mrs. Bieber, died from brain cancer. She was only six years old.

Avalanna, who had suffered from a rare, incurable cancer called AT/RT since she was 18 months, was the biggest Justin Bieber fan on the planet.

Her family was trying to make little Avalanna’s dream come true. They wanted her to meet Justin. So they went to Twitter and Faceback and started the “Get Avalanna to Meet Justin Bieber,” campaign. Her nickname, Mrs. Bieber, was the hashtag used on Twitter.

Her dream came true in February, when Bieber flew young Avalanna out to New York City, where the superstar took his biggest fan on a Valentines’ Day date, where they played games and ate junk food.

Avalanna passed yesterday and the young girl’s family tweeted out the tragic news from her official Twitter handle:

Justin Bieber got hold of the news a little later, and it was clear that he was completely crushed:

The Beliebers were out in full effect, showing their respect for the original Mrs. Bieber, so much so, that Avalanna was trending on Twitter.

RIP to Mrs. Bieber, you will be missed.
