Tonight ESPN will air their documentary, 30 for 30: Broke, about athletes who blew all their money.

One of the athletes featured on the show will be Antoine Walker, who famously blew $110 million on bad real estate and his homies. Earlier today, the former Boston Celtics star stopped by First Take to discuss how he blew his fortune. He explained that he was taking care of his friends and that he lived a lavish lifestyle.

As soon as the interview ended, Twitter awoke to roast him for blowing his wads of cash.

When you blow a million on gambling, Evelyn Lozada, and maintaining a lavish lifestyle for you and your 15 friends, you got to expect the hate, right?

But I can’t help but feel like those same people dissing Antoine Walker and the other athletes who went broke, are the same ones yelling YOLO in the club, YOLO on Twitter, and YOLO when they order their chicken wings and shrimp fried rice with extra sauce.

I’d rather have blown $110 million dollars, then to have not had it at all. Why?

Because you only live once.

Sure these atheletes blow money on stupid things like putting a bowling alley in their 15 room mansion when they live alone. Why do you need 15 rooms when you’re single? Sheesh!

American greed aside, we should think twice before judging, and hopefully tonight when 30 for 30: Broke airs, we’ll have a better glance at why and how these sports stars lose all their bread.

YOLO doesn’t seem so cool anymore, does it?
